MEET NEWTON W. (BILL) CHISM JR., M.D.
Dr. Chism has proudly served the Dublin, Georgia community for more than 40 years. Originally from the Atlanta area, he earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Valdosta State University before graduating from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed both a family practice residency and an OB/GYN residency before moving to Dublin in 1978. After years of practicing both family medicine and obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Chism dedicated his career exclusively to women's healthcare—his true passion. Known for his compassion and commitment, he has cared for generations of families and is now delivering third-generation babies. Outside the office, he enjoys keeping up with the latest medical technology and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves, and Atlanta Falcons. Above all, Dr. Chism considers Dublin home and remains devoted to providing exceptional care to the women of his community.
MEET JOY SCARBOROUGH, DNP-C
Joy Scarborough, DNP-C, is a remarkable healthcare professional whose dedication to the well-being of others is truly inspiring. Growing up in Eastman, GA, she developed a deep understanding of the importance of community and personal connection. After establishing and successfully running her own family medicine practice in Eastman for many years, she became a trusted figure for countless individuals and families, providing compassionate care and making a lasting impact on their lives. Beyond her expertise in family medicine, Joy also dedicates her skills to weight loss, gynecological, and obstetric services. She offers guidance, encouragement, and a holistic approach to health and wellness. Her patients are not just numbers—they are individuals who are treated with respect, dignity, and the utmost care.

Gale, our sonographer at Dublin OB/GYN Associates, brings decades of experience and expertise to every patient she cares for. Known for her warm and compassionate nature, Gale goes above and beyond to ensure that each patient feels comfortable and supported during their ultrasound appointments. She takes the time to explain the process, answer any questions, and provide reassurance, making sure every visit is a positive experience.
